An Air France Boeing 777-200ER similar to the one of Flight 984

FlyCancer flight 984 was a Boeing 777-200ER that was shot down by Baffinian fighter jets flying from Cancer City to Tokyo-Haneda in the early morning hours of January 10, 2020. All 302 passengers and crew were killed as well as 11 people on the ground when pieces of burning aircraft debris hit the town center of the small town of Angor, in northern Baffinia off the Arctic Coast. As a result, Canceria declared war on Baffinia.

Of the 302 on board, there was 3 members of the Baffinian Parliamentary Assembly attending a meeting in Tokyo, 2 Baffinian diplomats, a Canadian diplomat, and a Japanese diplomat as well. President Donald Trump confirmed that there were 7 US citizens on board, including 1 dual citizenship with the UK, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed that there were 14 other Canadian citizens on board, 2 of which had dual citizenship with the UK, 3 of which with India, and 2 of which with the Philippines.

60 Japanese citizens, 41 Vertillian citizens, 31 Ellesmerian citizens, 24 Robloxian citizens, 3 British citizens, and 1 apiece from France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, and Austria were also on board, while the rest of the people were Baffinian citizens.

The NTSB would lead the investigation, with support from the RTSB, BTSC (Baffinian Transportation Safety Council), VCARS (Vertillian Council of Air and Rail Safety), ETSB (Ellesmerian Transportation Safety Bureau) and TSB.
